Fifteen years ago, when we started Wavelength as a weekly PWYC music night, we couldn’t have imagined we’d be celebrating our birthday 15 years with an amazing month like we’ve just had. We created a real community hub for independent music and the arts with the Wavelength Pop-Up Gallery and capped it off with a long-weekend-long blowout with #WL15.
We want to say a HUGE “Thank You” to EVERYONE who braved the extreme deep freeze and came out to take part in last weekend’s festivities, and everyone who popped into our Pop-Up. Thanks also to all the amazing bands, artists, visualists, DJs, volunteers, venues, techs, bartender, writers, photographers, funders, sponsors and supporters who made it all possible. And of course, gratitude must go to all our hard-working staff for pulling this off.
We’re already looking ahead to Camp Wavelength this summer, and our Sweet 16 next year, but for now… FIFTEEN FEELS AWESOME!!!
