About the event:
Wavelength’s Summer Thing returns for a jam-packed day of fun, sun, and beautiful scenery in Trillium Park. This annual gathering will once again transform one of Toronto’s most idyllic waterfront locations into an immersive experience for family and community to come together for an unforgettable day of togetherness.
Trillium Park is a gorgeous waterfront park that features an open air pavilion, a trail along the lakeshore, and lush greenery. It’s the perfect place to bring your family for a summertime picnic, or to just lay back and relax while you enjoy a full day of Summer Thing programming.
The Wavelength Summer Thing lineup will feature Canadian artists ranging from rock and indie to jazz and electronic. Prepare to be blown away by artists like power-pop legends Daniel Romano’s Outfit, Polaris long-list nominated glam-rocker Nyssa, buzzy young jazz-fusion crew Lavender Town, and more.
The public park will come to life with art installations, live painting, food and drink, an indie vendor market and immersive, social activities. Public Sweat will bring the heat with their mobile sauna, while attendees can chill by the lakeside campfire.
