Wavelength warmed up winter 2014 over the Ontario Family Day long weekend with Wavelength Music Festival 14 – celebrating our 14th year!
A curated alternative to the club crawl, this festival took over a different downtown music venue each night for four nights in a row – giving the dedicated festival goer the chance to see everything. Putting breaking artists in the spotlight, the Wavelength Music Festival is a live mixtape of the best independent music in Canada – the soundtrack to your brand new year. 2014’s festival included nighttime shows at The Silver Dollar Room, Adelaide Hall, Polish Combatants Hall, and The Garrison, along with daytime talks at June Records and Sonic Boom Music. Musical highlights included Colin Stetson, US Girls, DIANA, Weaves, Phedre, Cousins, The Wet Secrets, and more!
