Daniel Isaiah is a songwriter and filmmaker born and raised and based in Montreal, QC. His first solo album, High Twilight (2011) was called a

Peers were hatched at The Banff Centre and formed between a cold garage in Toronto and a warehouse in downtown Los Angeles. Mannerisms is an alternative to your canonized 70’s jazz rock fusion records your Dad (or Uncle?) played when he thought no one else was home. Drummer/composer Dean Wales (formerly of Afro-beat crew Ultra Magnus) would prefer to call it “cold fusion,” with regards to the groove elements that made that music exciting before the self-indulgence took root. With more textures drawing from post-rock (but shying away from the quiet-loud trapping), they prefer a purer form of instrumental
