The Firebird Band

The Firebird Band, otherwise – in earlier incarnations known as The Firebird Project and/or The Firebird Suite – is Chris Broach and many others over the years. At one time, it was he and his brother’s band (Riley Broach), when they were known as The Firebird Suite. They then became The Firebird Project with Chris Wilson (of Ted Leo and the Pharmacists) on drums and Pablo Gammeri on bass and sharing some vocal duties with Broach.

The band finally settled on The Firebird Band as its name, and Chris Broach continued to recruit a veritable all-star cast which rotated through the line-up over the years.

– “The Setting Sun and Its Satellites” includes Andy Hawthorne on guitar, Erik Bocek (of Joan Of Arc and Ghosts and Vodka) on bass, and Todd Finkel on drums. – “The Drive” includes Andy Hawthorne on guitar, Sebastien Paquet on drums, Roy Ewing on drums, and Aaron Barr on bass. – “The City at Night” featured John Isberg (of Swede Films) as co-writer and multi-instrumentalist. – other members on various releases include Steve Lamos (of American Football), Ben Wilson (of Back of Dave), Roy Ewing (of Braid & Very Secretary), Mike Marsden (of Mathlete & The New Constitution) and more.

The Firebird Band disbanded officially in 2015 to become SNST
