The Doers

The Doers first made a splash in 2004 with their EP I Can Enjoy Almost Anything, which features legendary bassist Mike Watt (Minutemen), and went on to release a couple more EPs and three full-length albums (Ready, Set… Do (2004), Whatcha Doin’? (2005) and Gaiety (2007)) over the next three years. In that time, the band gained a committed cult following and the influence of their fun-filled, jazz-inflected style of acoustic post-punk still permeates the Canadian music landscape to this day with bands like the aforementioned Apollo Ghosts.
