Recoilers are long-time students in the school of rock. Over the years, the band has thrown ample amounts of ingredients into its sonic melting pot of influences, ranging from the Beach Boys to Sonic Youth. The result is loud guitar-heavy stop-start riffs complemented with a strong sense of catchy melodies and harmonies.
In 2001, the trio teamed up with Kelp Records to debut the six-song album, For Decoration Only. Their last full-length recording, 2 Years End was recorded by Ottawa’s Dave Draves of Little Bullhorn Productions.
Recoilers features Jake Bryce on guitar/vocals, Jon Lomow on drums and Rolf Klausener on bass.
