cutsleeve is a queer East/South East Asian rock band that uses music to heal and headbang away from the mainstream. They were brought together to explore the complexities of their identities and repurpose rock music for their own healing and expression. It is only through the band that they have created a safer space to explore music as a creative outlet. They released their debut EP ‘the parts we could not abandon’ in 2020, which was featured on CBC, Exclaim! and DOMINIONATED.
