Heather Mariko

Heather Mariko is a writer and stand-up comedian from Toronto, Canada. She got her start in comedy studying improv at The Second City Toronto in 2014, and began stand-up shortly after. Since, she has performed at multiple festivals including JFL Toronto, The Kitchener-Waterloo Comedy Festival, The Burlington Comedy Festival, and The Chicago Funny Women’s Festival. Her debut stand-up album, AYCE, has been widely praised and featured on Sirius XM, and in 2023 she recorded as part of the Just For Laughs Originals album. In 2023, she was chosen to participate in the Stand-Up and Pitch competition at JFL Comedy Pro. More recently, she has written on Canada’s Drag Race and This Hour Has 22 Minutes.
